Non-profit · Research · Yaoundé, Cameroon
Good health, good schools, decent work. They belong together.
We are a young team in Yaoundé working on the three things that shape a young person's future: their health, their education and their chance to earn a living. We run projects in communities, and we do the research that carries what we learn to the people who make policy.
Our mission
Three pillars, one life
A child who is sick cannot learn. A young person without skills cannot find work. A family without income cannot pay for school or care. We work on all three because each one holds up the others.

A note from our President
Why we started
Growing up and working in Cameroon, we kept meeting the same young people: bright, willing to work, and held back by things that had nothing to do with their ability. A school that could not take a child in a wheelchair. A clinic bill that ended a girl's studies. A good business idea with no one to turn to for advice.
We registered the Triple Helix Foundation in August 2024 to work on three pillars, health, education and the economy, in two ways: by helping people directly, and by studying the problems carefully enough that our findings can change policy. We have no big donors yet. Everything you see here is run by volunteers who believe this work matters. If you do too, we would be glad to hear from you.

Our work
Three founding departments
One department for each pillar. Each pairs applied research with projects on the ground.
Projects
Our first projects
Being prepared now, at least one for each pillar. Follow their progress or help one get started.
Research
Publications
Our first policy briefs and working papers are in preparation.
Join the mailing list at the foot of this page and we will tell you when the first ones are out.
Cross-cutting initiative
AI & Human Development Initiative
Artificial intelligence is arriving in classrooms and clinics faster than the evidence on what it does. The Initiative draws on our health and education departments to study where AI helps, where it harms, and who gets left out.
Tutoring tools, teacher support and assessment in low-resource schools.
Decision support for community health workers, triage and disease surveillance.
